Dear Tutors,
at MSKPU, we have been actively supporting
animal protection and ethical fashion for years.
We are also the publisher of the book
“Animal Protection and Vegetarianism in Poland”
by Łukasz Smaga, whose themes will be explored
during a discussion at the University of Warsaw
on October 29!
The discussion will feature the book’s author, Łukasz Smaga,
alongside Dariusz Gzyra and Prof. Cezary Błaszczyk.
Please note that the discussion
will be held in Polish.

We would also like to take this opportunity
to remind you of the remarkable publication
“Animal Protection and Vegetarianism in Poland”
by Łukasz Smaga,
published by MSKPU.
It is the first such detailed, almost encyclopedic
account of the history of Polish compassion for animals,
tracing the development of animal protection ideas
from medieval animal trials
to the pioneers of the vegetarian movement.
As a school that consistently stands against
the use of natural fur
and animal leather in fashion,
we are especially proud to support
the sharing of knowledge on this subject
also through our publishing activities.
The book is available in both print
and e-book formats.
We warmly encourage you to join the discussion,
discover the publication and continue exploring
the history of the fight for animal rights.
Because change begins with knowledge,
but what we do with it is up to us.
